Shan von Shanblatt is a beautiful, energetic 3 year old German Shepherd who could probably outplay a preschooler on a sugar high.  She loves to play, so you'll probably need to invest in some good quality dog toys that can withstand some serious tugging and squeaking.  When Shan is engaged in play she gets so excited and vocal about her toys.  When one squeaks she feels the need to squeak back, which really makes you laugh out loud.  Shan gets along well with both small and large dogs and she will definitely play with them if they engage her.  She's just bursting with excitement most of the time, so a home with older children is probably best.  She's going to need some obedience training to help her focus on her play and her commands, especially since she sees everything as play right now.  She's going to pick up training quickly once she starts because she already knows how to down and sits pretty well too.  Agility class would be something she would enjoy doing once she has the basic commands down.  Shan is not the type of dog to sit around and watch TV or be a couch potato.  She needs mental stimulation and exercise on a daily basis.  If you're interested in meeting her and want a play date, fill out an application today!
